Donald "Burch" L. Burchfield, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away on March 13, 2025, at the Valley Hospice Care Center North. Born on May 12, 1937, in Steubenville, Ohio, Donald was a proud graduate of Steubenville High School, class of 1955. Shortly after graduating, he dedicated four years to serving in the Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Sergeant, which solidified his commitment to duty and service.After his military service, Donald embarked on a long and fulfilling career with the postal service, where he worked as a letter carrier for 38 years. He also served as a contracted cleaner at the Mingo Junction Post Office for 25 years, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and the community alike. Throughout his professional life, Donald was known not only for his hard work but also for his unwavering kindness and approachability.Donald's personality shone through in both his work and his leisure.
